This is an interesting work. From the use of HDR to exaggerate the finer details of the shot to the application of vignette and letter boxing to create a much more dramatic shot the post processing adds a huge component to the image's feel. I'm not sure if it would be possible but the HDR processing ally brought out some of the detail in his hands. I doubt a dead guy (or even a live one of his age) would usually have such obvious veins though it does add an almost skeletal appearance to him.

But beyond the post processing the photograph itself is well done, with an especially good job done with the framing and control of depth of field. It does an excellent job of isolating the subject and drawing attention to his face and away from the objects in the background, though the sheen from them, leading me to believe the framing contained cars or other pained objects.

Moving on to the costume the studded cloth armor is very well done. It appears that a significant attention to detail was used in the construction of it. Same goes for the excellent touch with the handling of the pant legs. I'm not so sure about the boots though. They give the impression that they were sewn together without any hemming or reinforcement on the top of the seam so I would be a bit concerned about their durability.

Overall this is an excellent picture of an equally excellent cosplay. Kudos to all involved.

Good Job on this on... I mean they are all GOOD (your work) but this one is my favorite!! I just like the way you express yourself with the use of philosophical words... by the way... love how you used Sindarin language too as well... :D

Heee. You need to photoshop the tread off the boots if you want to make this look like a centuries old warrior.

Hugs. You are asking for a critical eye. I am no where near the photographer you are. But I can see things. So I report them back.
