You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival.

في اليوم لنتذكر.

This is me in the photo. As with many others aswell. I'm what you call a One - Man - Band - Do - It - All.
I set up the idea, take the photo, Usually am in the photo, and Post process the photo. But thanks. They are very blue. I didn't do anything to them which is crazy. There just that blue all the time. During the day of course. As if the sunlight makes them brigher.

if you are fighting for victory
the chances of survival are constantly diminishing
since you are at war all the time

but Without fighting for victory
there might be the chance of peace actually

Not tryin to pry I think your in the right area but like LeniR above posted it looks as if you've mixed gear, then you have a camera on (so I assume your a photojournalist) which didnt go into combat armed, if they were it was just a pistol or something along those lines. Your grenades are of course in the wrong time "apple" style m67s didnt come out till later, the easy to get "pineapple" was standard issue.
The end you look as if your leading a group of men with no weapons but grenades and a camera.....which would seem complete opposite of what an unarmed cameraman would be doing somewhere in Europe in the '43 '44 timeframe. Nor would you be wearing the para uniform as an attached reporter.

So now I see you have your ammo belt for the M1 clips but no rifle, an E tool on your back (I think the only folks Ive seen doin that were Marines on islands in the Pacific, just as they landed)
One thing to think about is and one you'll learn after basic is no one puts thier gear on like someone else wants em to, You find your own way. (at least while no ones watching)
You just look like your ready for airsoft......So Im still curious why you would choose '46 as the time set for your getup. '44 would be the best year to look at. Normandy, Market Garden, then the battle of the bulge. All serious engagements that paratroops of the 101st took place in. Might need just a bit more research.

All valid points, dude, but what you just said is better served written as a critque, unless you are looking for attention.

Yea your right, Im new to the site and didnt notice it till after. But on the other hand people should know that while his shots are better than anything I could ever do, (they are amazing pictures) when he begins to put on uniforms of men and women who arent here any more he should take the time to do it right. It doesnt take much time google searches do wonders. No Im not lookin for attention, it just that your average person has no idea its wrong and maybe he doesnt either I dont know.

Long story short you should wear the uniforms right and in the proper setting or not at all.

I like the concept of this but I think the execution is poor because there's too much mixing of gear for this to qualify as "reenactment" or "historical". Between the dog tags worn on the outside, the modern goggles, modern grenades, and lack of paratrooper chin strap on the helmet (although all other gear seems to be paratrooper), this just isn't working for me.
